<<Before:  The Japanese-style poodled pine in the entry of this beautiful PNW lodge style house did not fit the house or the setting at all.

>>After: A more natural looking combination of conifer, grasses, and heather compliments the house and blends with the forest setting.

<<Before: The empty stairwell was dark and unattractive.

>>After: The beautiful screen with a metal inset by a local artist stands out against the dark background, and adds warmth to the space.

<<After: In the pool garden, this colorful border forms a lush backdrop.

>>After: The client's antique stained glass window had been unused for years, but a local metal artisan and I designed a stand so it can ornament the garden in summer.  The window can be removed from the stand and safely stored for the winter.

<<After: The soft, flowing plantings set off this natural pond.  The clients installed a fountain in the middle of the pond for added drama.

>>After: The relaxed plantings in the pond garden fit the natural setting.
